Eddie Studios opened for business in 2001 by owner Ed Harris (see
biography below) with the goal of providing high-quality web design
services and eCommerce solutions to the business community at a
reasonable cost. It was sadly evident that too many businesses had
received poor quality web development services from amateur web
developers claiming to perform professional work. Eddie Studios
is in business to develop experiences which facilitate the efficient
and evocative delivery of web-based information and services.
ABOUT Ed Harris
Ed Harris studied at Tunxis College (business
major) during the mid 70's. After a prolonged interest in the growing
area of computer technology he became involved building and selling
personal computers as a side interest during the year 1987. Later
in 1993 Ed opened a computer and accessories business named Macoun
Computers, which was phased out in 1996 as he transitioned into
E&G Internet Marketing Services with the emergence of the Internet.
Within the realm of E&G he developed
and operated the Web Designer Directory, WDD Global Hosting Service,
WDD Banner Exchange and acted as editor of the Web Designers Gazette
monthly newsletter, an online publication of several thousand subscriptions.
Along the way he also spent time during the years 2000-2001 working
as a professional web programmer/developer and Flash specialist.
Finally in June of 2001 Eddie Studios was
opened to provide professional web development services to the business
community at affordable prices.
